CoreWeave (CRWV) has expanded into the U.S. federal market with the launch of CoreWeave Federal, aiming to provide secure, high-performance AI cloud infrastructure to government agencies and the Defense Industrial Base. The announcement was made at Nvidia’s GTC Conference in Washington, D.C.

The company will pursue FedRAMP authorization and other compliance standards to meet stringent government cybersecurity requirements. CEO Michael Intrator emphasized alignment with rigorous federal standards to accelerate innovation and mission performance.

This MOVE follows CoreWeave’s March 2025 acquisition of AI development platform Weights & Biases, bolstering its public sector capabilities. The firm has also expanded its D.C. presence with new offices and key hires in security, legal, and government affairs.
